Fall Fashion Trend: #2 Floral Dresses

This week I wanted to bring a feminine touch to fall fashion trend #2 with fall floral print dresses. Anything with flowers on it grabs me, whether its a picture, a piece of clothing, or in my front yard, it always grabs my attention and as you will notice my 'lens' attention. 2010 fall fashion has given us a beauitful, feminine selection of floral printed dresses to kick the summer blues away.

Again at the top of my list is Ralph Lauren's Blue Label selection, suprise suprise; the Maclain Silk Floral Dress ($598.00). Since I saw these dresses on the runway show, I have loved them ever since. The use of the floral printed, crinkled silk chiffon and the flattering bias-cut silhouette gives it a bohemian, flouncy vintage feel. Paired with a sweater or topped with a cardigan or the aviator shearling jacket, it is perfect for daywear or evening wear. So feminine and chic.

Second on my list is one of my all time favorite brand and store, All Saints. I love everything they do and wish I could just have a wardrobe filled with all their unique creations and designs.
All Saints has given the Night Florals Karin Dress ($480.00) a modern, rougher edge with a digital print of gouache floral painting on washed silk, sprayed over with jet and washed black airbrushes, creating a textured look, and inspiring movement with the pleated panels. Paired with tights/leggings, boots and a jacket, equals a perfect fall outfit.

Next on the list, is a designer I just discovered, Peter Som. His 2010 fall collection is worth looking at, especially his floral silk dresses with a beautiful sash to accentuate the silhouette. The pattern and colors are so warm and conjure up an image of walking in the park, dress flowing in the autumm breeze with the smell of crisp air and falling leaves.

Last but not least is the most affordable floral dress from Warehouse. Warehouse's stripe floral maxi ($137.00) is a maxi dress for winter with it's long sleeves and floor length, it is sure to keep you feeling warmer and very feminine and chic. Pair it with a nice pair of boots and jacket it would be perfect for day or evening wear.

Are we a fan of the floral dresses? How would you wear it?
