Ringing in the New Year with Chassity from LookLingerLove

With each New Year comes a clean state, a fresh start and a list of all the things we want to achieve and accomplish. What better way to get encouraged and inspired to make this year better than the last, than to read about fellow blogger’s thoughts and aspirations for this upcoming year.
I’m really excited to get this series started as I have quite a few of my favorite bloggers lined up to share their highlights of 2010, their inspirations for 2011 and what’s on their forecast for this upcoming year.

To kick it all off, I have one of my favorite bloggers from one of my favorite blogs, which has just been awarded the “Most Stylish Blog Award” and defiantly deserves it. This is her second post on Imagine.Create.Play and I’m so glad she wanted to come back. So without further ado, I’d like to introduce Chassity from LookLingerLove

(fitting, because I'm celebrating the start of 2011 with my husband)

2010 Highlights:
2010 in many ways was one of the best years of my life.  Mostly in part to watching my baby girl's first year of life, having a loving and healthy marriage, and so many inspired moments shared with family and friends.  But another big highlight of 2010 was starting my blog, Look Linger Love.  I never dreamed that it would bring so much goodness and the new wonderful friends as it has.
Sorry, couldn't resist throwing this in here.  And I don't think I've ever checked to see if someone has commented on my comments...

2011 Inspirations:

This may sound cheesy, but what inspires me to make the most out of 2011 is my daughter.  So many moms that I know say that having kids has changed them so much and they can't remember their lives before becoming parents.  Not me.  I'm still the same girl that I was before.  Sure a few things are different, but overall I still have the same hobbies, go out with my friends, have date nights with my husband, travel...
Okay, so I quit my day job and am a stay at home mom (that was what I had always wanted), so that has changed.  But being home with my girl has given me the kick in the butt I needed to start up my style blog.  Just because I'm a Mom doesn't mean I have to wear "mom jeans".  And being true to oneself is exactly the life lesson I want to teach my daughter.  Children learn by example.
A rad print available here.

2011 Forecast/Goals:
Like the song, my future's so bright I gotta wear shades.  Here's hoping for loads of goodness , great blog times, and with any luck an expansion of our family (no- I'm not pregnant now).
In closing, here's hoping and fingers crossed that I....
If I had a garden I would totally put this stone in it.

Thank you again Chassity for being a part of my new series and sharing your inspirations and goals. May 2011 bring you so much joy and happiness and maybe a little gift from the Stork!
