An Idea Born at Sea

Don't you just love it when you casually stumble upon something completely stunning, something out of the ordinary,
something that you didn't think would grab your attention but does.
Well tonight was one of those moments.
Whilst on Pinterest, where I waste spend a lot of time these days
{I just can't help it, anyone else out there who feels the same??},
I found through a couple of links this Italian company "Fetto a Vela" translated in English as "Done Sailing".

It's a company owned by husband and wife who one day decided to up and live on their boat, why? As they put it so beautifully...

"really about living with enthusiasm, discipline, and patience
for something that you feel deeply for."

And that mantra can be seen seamlessly throughout their work of revamping Sailor's ditty bags.
Not only was the idea born at sea but they also transformed their boat into a floating laboratory where they create these unique bags with a vintage feel.

Each one is hand made and treated with TLC from the canvas baked by the sun to the hand crafted banana fiber rope and finally the hand painted logo.

To top it all off, when buying of these bags, the process takes weeks and the bag is made with you in mind, how much more personal and unique can you get.

To put it simply, I'm in love and am waiting to hear back about all the details, including the price, which hopefully with some wishful thinking, won't be too much!
While you visit the site, enjoy the inspirational words from the owners themselves.

Inspiration, dedication, and manual care.
It was an unforgettable night. Our idea was born under the stars in the sea.
