Pretty in Ombre

When I was younger I use to love tie-dye, especially doing it yourself and mixing all the colors. Each time, you would come out with something unique that you had a hand in creating.
Now that I'm older, my tastes have matured from tie-dye to ombre.
There is something so magnificent about the effects of one single color.
The variations from dark to light.
It gives a touch of je ne sais quoi to flowers, linens, dresses, hair, makeup and cakes.
Just feast your eyes of some of these beauties...

  6. Those lips are fierce, you're right ombré is the grown-up version of tie-dye. The Calypso St Barth collection has a few cute blue to lime pieces I'm tempted by.

  7. P.S. I meant the Calypso St. Barth Collection for Target. I'm sure the actual collection has great stuff too, just not in my size or price range.

  8. I actually love the cake look - not something I would normally pick out. But now that you have pointed it out - Love it!!
